How certification information is collected and reviewed.

When available, information is collected from sources in the following order:

• Official certification or credential pages.
• Official exam guides, candidate handbooks and policy documents.
• Official registration, scheduling or renewal pages.
• Provider support articles and authoritative institutional pages.
• Secondary sources only when clearly identified and necessary for discovery.

Records may include credential type, provider, category, exam fee, prerequisites, renewal period, delivery method, language availability, study estimates and related career fields.

A missing field does not necessarily mean that the requirement does not exist. It may mean that the current source did not provide enough reliable detail.

A record should only be described as verified after its important details have been reviewed against an official or authoritative source. Records awaiting review may remain available for discovery but should not be treated as final.

Verification reflects the source review completed at a particular point in time. It does not guarantee that a provider has not changed its rules afterward.

Certification programs change frequently. Visitors and providers may submit corrections with an official source. Proposed changes are reviewed before they are applied to a formal certification record.
